Group Gear Packing List - Fall All Section Camp

All camps need the following paperwork:
- An Adventure Application Form (AAF) prepared and signed by the Scouter in Charge, and approved by the Group Commissioner.
- Registration forms and emergency contact details for all attendees (printout from myscouts), not just access to myscouts on your phone).
- Hold Harmless forms for non-registered attendees.
- Extra set of the above to be handed into Camp Chief if required.
- Training completed for all adult participants (e.g. parent overnight)
- Camp-specific registration forms if applicable.
- Check vehicle condition (battery condition, spare tire for vehicle and trailer, oil and other fluids, ice scraper, fuel, snow tires, chains, jumper cables, antifreeze, lights, tire wrench).
Go to the locker and get:
- Large rubbermaid tubs to pack food into.
- Section flags and a loose Canadian flag to break during opening.
- Axe
- Toolbox with file, spare mantles, adjustable wrench, etc.
- Long ropes to hang clothes on and short ones to tie flags up on the balcony.
- Small ropes for knot work.
- Dish soap, scrub pads, 5 dishcloths, and 5 teatowels
- Cleaning supplies (rags, Comet, and bottle of bleach)
- Oven mitts
- 4 squirt bottles of hand sanitizer
- 3 squirt bottled of hand soap
- Large black garbage bags
- Spare sleeping bags (barf bags)
- Cooking pots and pans
- Juice jug
- Coffee maker(s)
- Coffee thermos
- Matches/lighter
- First aid kit
- Compasses (red tackle box)
- Crab cooker
- Coolers
- Four burner stove AND the large black hose with the quick connect.
- Two 20# propane tanks (for the 4 burner stove and the crab cooker if we use them)
- Adjustable wrench to connect the crab cooker.
- Duct tape
- Clear packing tape
Consider bringing the following:
- Large pots for hot chocolate (the one we usually put on the crab cooker).
- White washtubs
- Scout staves
Check in the locker, but you may need to purchase the following:
- Coffee filters
- Napkins
- Toilet paper
- Paper towel
- Tin foil
- Zip lock bags
- Kleenex boxes
- Sugar
- Teabags
Those sleeping outside will need the following:
- Tents
- Box of groundsheets
- 2 Propane lanterns for outside
- Small propane bottles for propane lantern
- Hammers
- Box of spare tentpegs
- Deadman anchors (for snow)
- Matches/lighter
- First aid kit
- Box of misc. ropes
Bring from home:
- Leaf bags for recycling stations
- Garbage can with large plastic bag for food waste
- Firewood
- Laminated “Food Waste”, “Recycling” and "Garbage" signs
- Games like cards, chess, puzzles, woggle making material, etc.
