The following is a list of Group Gear required for a standing camp.
All camps need the following paperwork:
- An Adventure Application Form (AAF) prepared and signed by the Scouter in Charge, and approved by the Group Commissioner.
- Registration forms and emergency contact details for all attendees (printout from myscouts, not just access to myscouts on your phone).
- Extra set of the above to be handed into Camp Chief if required.
- Hold Harmless forms for non-registered attendees.
- Camp-specific registration forms if applicable.
- Check vehicle condition (battery condition, spare tire for vehicle and trailer, oil and other fluids, ice scraper, fuel, snow tires, chains, jumper cables, antifreeze, lights, tire wrench).
The gear required for a camp depends on the which camp you are going to:
- Stave Lake has a lodge and a flat camping area with a shelter. It has a stove, but no cooking gear (pans, etc.). It has potable water.
- Mount Seymour has a lodge and a hilly camping area. It has a kitchen-style stove/oven, a large flat cook-top, and cooking gear and dishes. It does not have potable water. Youth do not need to bring eating utensils.
- Camp Linley as a lodge and a camping area. It has a kitchen-style stove/oven, but we need to bring propane for it. Youth need to bring eating utensils.
- Snowfly and Rovent at Manning Park has a flat camping area and you need to bring everything.

The Patrol Boxes should be prepacked with the following. There is loose gear in the locker for the other Sections to bring for standing camps. The gear is required is similar, but things can be changed like replace the two-burner propane stove with the large 4-burner stove. Remember that the two-burner propane stove need the small black hose that goes to the propane tree and the 4-burner stove needs the large black hose with the quick connect.
